Ax370 k3 system not booting0

I have built a new system with the ax370 k3 board using a ryzen 5 1600x 2x8 gig sticks of corsair vengeance 3200 ram,new 750w evga psu and gtx 1060 6gb gfx card.
When I try start the system the fans/gfx card fire up but doesnt goto post screen,the led's that should light up all over the board are not coming on and the small cpu warning led is flashing between dram and cpu.i have tried to clear cmos with jumper and also removed battery,could the board be faulty?

Hello,

The motherboard's BIOS might be the issue, if it is using the first release, F1 it will not support your CPU.
You need to confirm the BIOS version by asking gigabyte or if you know someone with a supported CPU
