(GA-P67A-D3-B3) Question about RAM
« on: August 31, 2017, 03:23:00 pm »
What will happen if I put 2 RAMs with more MHz and different DDR than the supported?
I've bought a new motherboard, RAM, CPU and cooler but I won't change the motherboard and CPU right now.
The question is what will happen if a put a RAM with more MHz? It won't work or it will work at less MHz (2133)?

Sorry for my silly question and bad English :P

s  long as it is the same ram as in DDR3 or DDR4 then it should work at ower speeds you might have to go into bios on first start up and lower them manually
