Where is the fastboot option in the bios?
« on: September 22, 2017, 05:13:37 pm »
Hi Everyone
I use a humble H61M-S2PV motherboard.
I need to know if there is a switchable fastboot option in the bios settings on this board? - searched but cannot find.

Would it be that this board does not have this function?
Thanks in advance

4 revs of this board - You didn't state which you had
Also there are multiple BIOS revs available....  But I don't see this option in rev. 1.0...  so it might not exist.  Likely doesn't.

Hi shadowsports
thanks for your reply and interest. I cannot pickup from the board markings of any relevant info - however Belarc tells me.........
UEFI American Megatrends  FC02-15-2012 (hope this is of help.)
I am looking at all ways to overcome the problem I have with the fitment of a MSI GT 710. When fitted, my desktop immediately fails to boot up - and I cannot enter the Bios. I do get the gigabyte flashscreen however, but thats it!
Further details in my earlier post
Thanks for your interest.

Having taken a 2nd look at the board - I can now confirm it to be REV2.0
I downloaded the latest bios update (FLD - which is listed as a 'BETA' bios) -  attempted to update only to find that my current QFlash utility is outdated !!!!!

Any ideas chaps?
