GA-B75M-D3V Compatible Graphics Cards
« on: October 15, 2017, 02:40:08 pm »
Hi,

I am looking at upgrading my graphics card mostly for better performance playing the SIMS 4. I cannot find a lot of information on the motherboards main support page regarding compatible graphics cards.

The current spec is as follows: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V r1.1 Motherboard, i5 CPU 3570, Kingston 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Gigabyte HD 7700, Seagate 250GB hdd, Enermax EPR425AWT PSU.

The graphics cards I am considering upgrading to are either of the following; RX 480, RX 560, RX 580 or GTX 1060.

Has anyone had good experience of trying these cards with this motherboard or should I be looking at something older to replace the HD 7700.

The power supply has 8+6 pin power connectors and should handle up to 185watts. The motherboard now that I am uncertain of and would appreciate any help.

Thank you

In the end I took the plunge and replaced my graphics card with the Palit GTX 1060 and Seagate Firecuda 1TB SSHD - all working in harmony together.
