RGB Fusion Functionality
« on: January 18, 2018, 08:02:46 pm »
New to the forum and first post

Just completed a new PC build with windows 10 64bit and very happy with the end result performance wise, however the same cannot be said for the Gigabyte RGB Fusion App;
Despite having a z370 gaming 7 mobo and a Gigabyte high end graphics card I have zero control over the GPU RGB (permanent blue and not recognised by the app) the mobo RGB control is hit and miss sometimes it functions and other times not.
Fusion did recognise the RAM when I first installed the app but has since stopped.
I know there have been previous posts re this subject but I don't see the resolution.

I would welcome any assistance

Build Spec is;
Gigabyte AORUS z370 Gaming 7
Intel Core i7-8700k
Custom CPU and GPU watercooling
G Skill Trident Z RGB 16Gb (2 x 8) DDR4 PC4-25600C14 3200MHz
Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition 11G
Samsung 960 EVO Polaris 500GB M.2 PCI-e 3.0 x4 NVMe
Kingston Hyper X Savage SSD 1TB

Windows 10 home 64 bit ver 1709

What you might try is installing an earlier or later version of the RGB App and see if it behaves differently.

I have the latest version installed at the moment (B18.0104.1) can't seem to find any older z370 versions

After a clean install of fusion and installation of the g-skill RGB software I have a reasonable level of colour control, even the gpu RGB is now in synch with the mobo. Thanks for the reply though.
