« on: November 05, 2017, 04:59:21 pm »
Hi,

I have a F7 BIOS driver and i decided upgrade to F9 using @BIOS. I chose from file method and it froze at 81%. So, i decided reboot it

after 30 minutes..

When computer started UEFI DualBIOS executed but it frozen 40%.

What can i do?

Thanks very much.

Does the machine start and POST using the back up BIOS or is it bricked?

It may be possible to resynchronize your F7 BIOS to the primary BIOS chip (failed flash) using ALT+F10 after you press power and the machine starts.

If successful, moving forward, suggest you use Qflash or efiflash to flash your BIOS and not use @BIOS in windows.

I have tried remove battery, clear cmos, alt F10... nothing different happen. I have read that removing eeprom its a possible solution, but i don´t know which is eeprom (second picture?)

Boards that do not have BIOS switches can only copy the back up BIOS to the primary chip when it becomes corrupt. You cannot boot from the back up BIOS.

While a BIOS chip can fail, what's more likely is that the address space has been changed or has been corrupted so it cannot accept the re-flash from the back up chip.  It looks like your board is trying to copy the back up BIOS to the primary chip.  Only conventional option I see from here is trying to re-flash F7 from a bootable USB stick.  This may or may not work.
