IR/CIR Module

IR/CIR Module
« on: July 15, 2010, 08:05:58 pm »
Hi All,
I am running off a GA-K8NXP-9  Motherboard which has a 10 pin header marked IR/CIR. Basically all the Manual says about is that I should purchase an optional IR/CIR Module.

I have talked to GogaByte about this but they have been distinctly un-helpful.

Can anyone give me any information about this module, what it is, what it does and possibly where I can obtain one.

Cheers,
Mac

It's an Infra Red connector that allows a remote  device some distance from the computer form what I can find out.

Thanks for that, it is not really any sort of high priority.
Cheers,
