hibernation is a w7 thing where the computer goes to sleep after inactivity....not sure if its called erp as well....you are advised to switch it off when using SSD drives.

yea that's the one, also got the Win power saving stuff disabled in win, basicly set to High performance , always do these power settings as Hdd's also hate power down and can kill the drives.
ErP is in the bios under Power saving, use tobe called EuP f6 bios and under , f7 onwards they changed the name, not sure why.
