why is it when i set my XMP profile (says 7-7-7-20 in bios) then when i boot to windows Cpu-z says 7-7-7-23 , even run Everest Cupid this reports the same..

is this a limitation of the 920 controller? or stamped wrong? or Bios issue?

i am on F6 Bios , i have tried Latest F beta bios still the same.. also this is my Second UD7

Something tells me it is the BIOS... What happens if you set it a bit lower in the BIOS? Does it still boot at 23 or something else? I doubt you will see a difference with that at 20 vs 23 anyway, but I remember it happening on my friends board.

Most of the RAM I have owned has similar discrepancies, big deal.

20 vs 24?

I would not lose a seconds sleep over it :)
