NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 HDMI sound problems
« on: February 03, 2019, 12:40:03 pm »
Hi.
I have some issue with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 from Gigabyte. HDMI sound is cracky, like with distortions. I tried many fixes, scanned PC, latency, updated/downgraded drivers. Nothing helped. Does someone know if it's this card series problem or it could be just mine.
Sometime if I don't use mouse and keyboard it will fix after few second, but moving cursor will break it again. Thus I can watch a move sometime but playing isn't good at all.
Thanks for answers

The usual cause of this is drivers.  You said you've tried many.  Another possible cause is cabling.  Sometimes the cable carries video properly, but not audio.  Try another cable.  One of known good quality that has 1.4 rating and good shielding.
