Z270-HD3P - issues with newest Intel LAN driver
« on: February 11, 2019, 01:01:09 pm »
Hello everyone, after updating LAN drivers to the latest version 23.5 I've noticed some strange behavior of PROSet configuration utility. Right after driver installation everything looks fine, but after cca 5 minutes PROSet utility for some reason cannot find "supported adapter" anymore. Adapter itself still works fine, no dropouts, disconnects etc., but PROSet utility just cannot detect it after some time. The only temporary cure is to disable and re-enable the adapter. It's just a bug or something else? Thanks.

Greetings,
Drivers are perfect and are not always compatible with every hardware/software scenario.  If you believe an update is causing a problem, roll back to the previous version to confirm.

If you aren't making regular back ups of your system, start there.  This gives you ultimate flexibility to install, test and evaluate software, drivers, updates, etc.
