Hi i got this board and bought the corsair vengeance rgb pro 32gig 3200mhz iv updated the bios to the latest F50 i installed the memory but it was only running at 2666mhz so i turned on xmp profile which the board changed everything the volts and seen the memorry was 3200mhz but the pc will just not start or even post to the bios unless i clear the cmos im not sure if im doing something wrong in the bios iv seem to get it to run fine at 3000mhz by turning off xmp profile and setting thinks my self but again if i go over 3000mhz it will not boot or blue screen i have attached a photo of how its running now 3000mhz i know the voltage should be 1.35v but again if i change it from 1.20v will not boot
do anybody have any ideas im not bothered about overclocking it just to run at the 3200mhz speed

Can I suggest you run a ram test program, such as https://www.memtest86.com/ or similar
First try running at 2666mhz to confirm all is ok, then try again at 3000mhz.
This will give an indication as to whether the ram is *possibly* ok or if there might be another issue.

Make sure you also try disabling fast boot if it's enabled, as this may cause some memory training to be missed.

You could also try manually loosening the timings out, and gradually bringing them back in.

Some people have also reported luck with "DRAM Calculator for Ryzen" (google search), but it's a step up again in terms of complexity.

hi thanks for the reply iv done the memtest at 2666mhz and 3000mhz all passed with no errors also fast boot is disabialed
could you tell me more how to loosen the timing im pretty new to doing this .Do you need turning them down and try that

do you think it could be beacuse i only have 500  watt power supply ??

Unlikely to be PSU related at this point - you're not even booting up at 3200mhz, so not even pushing the GPU, which is the most power hungry part of your build (~175w).

Much more likely you're hitting the limit of what the infinity fabric can handle on zen+.
The maximum (non-oc) official supported ram speed for a ryzen 2700 is 2933mhz.
It's double data rate (ddr) ram, so really the max ram speed is 1466mhz.
I believe the infinity fabric is tied 1:1 to this speed on zen+ (on zen2 the fabric can be set to half the ram speed).

I'd suggest running AMD's official Ryzen Master software.
Boot up using 3000mhz as it's stable there, then use the software to confirm that when you switch to 3200mhz, it will presumably freeze.

Reboot (which should be fine, as you're still set to 3000mhz in the bios), and run Ryzen Master again, this time check out the options available for your system... You might be able to achieve 3200mhz by upping the voltage or looking at fabric settings. Be careful, adjusting voltages can be dangerous if you go too far.

This is now officially an overclocking request (as 3200 is beyond the 2933 officially supported), as we've ruled out ram problems with memtest86, and there's no other evidence of any component issues. You might need to try an overclocking forum.

Your other options are to just run at 2933 (or 3000 if you like), or try to adjust the timings (say, 18-20-20-40).
The timings for your ram are officially 16-18-18-36 at 3200mhz at 1.35volts.
This won't help though if it is the infinity fabric that's the issue.

Also of note, in your bios screenshot, it's showing 3000mhz at 1.2volts. For anything above the SPD timings, you might as well set it to 1.35volts, as this is what the XMP profile does.

The Ryzen Master Utility might offer insight to what you can achieve with your hardware.

One other thing to note;

You upgraded to F50. I know BIOS' are suppose to be backwards compatible, but can provide an example where this didn't work. 

My Z97 board has a 4th Gen Devils Canyon CPU (F8 BIOS)

BIOS F10 and later supported 5th Gen Broadwell CPU's.  There were reports from many 4th Gen users who upgraded to F10 that experienced stepping issues with there processors.  Wouldn't down-clock, etc.  Sometimes latest isn't best.

Often times, a BIOS can be created for the hardware that is available at the time.  It can also be optimized for what a vendor had to test with during release.  Certainly this doesn't apply in every case.

Again, Fred155's points regarding the Zen fabric makes sense.  Its also possible that using an earlier BIOS rev could allow you to boot with XMP enabled at something above 3000 and near 3200, but I cannot guarantee this.  Just something to think about.  Sometimes manual settings with the same timings and merely upping voltage works as well (as stated earlier).
