F2A68HM-DS2 slow performance graphic and SSD
« on: March 17, 2021, 02:19:56 pm »
Hello,
i have a mainboard F2A68HM-DS2.
running some tests and receive verry bad performance on graphic card (and unable to run high range of resolution)
and my Sata III SSD disks are performing verry slow.

it's the main version 1.0 running the latest bios version.
clean installation of Windows 10 pro 64bits.

need assistance / correct drivers to use and perhaps optimal bios settings.

highest resolution is 1980X1080
and SSD performance is about 33% of the performance. SSD are recently new..
3 SSD disks al same slow performance.

Hi there,

this is quite old tech for a motherboard and without knowing a few more details it is going to be hard to offer any help.

please post back with the following information:

CPU/APU - Model
Graphics: On-board or dedicated GPU - If a dedicated GPU make & model
RAM: Speed an amount
Make and model(s) of SSD and any other storage devices.

There are a lot of things that can impact the speed of a system and it might take a bit of time to get to the bottom of the issue. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be to help.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Your SSD is 240GB — up to 500MB/s Read and 350MB/s Write, so post the actual speed of the drive. Check the highest resolution your monitor then your CPU is capable of. My graphics card has a higher resolution than my monitor can support.
