ASPM problem with Aeros Z390 Pro

ASPM problem with Aeros Z390 Pro
« on: March 31, 2021, 06:43:40 am »
I have been running a Aeros Z390 Pro (non wifi/BT) based system for almost a year now but there is still an issue which annoys me.

If I run powercfg  - energy in poweshell, the energy-report.html gives me an error there is something wrong with the intel usb 3.1 extensible host controller driver, and this deactives ASPM. I am runnning a seperate pcie extention card Wifi/BT ts from ASUS connected to one of the internal USB connectors on board and iin the machine, and if I activate ASPM in the bios then for some strange reason wifi is disabled. Energy report also claims that the a IGB controller on the board doesn't support selective standby. All latest drivers and bios installed.

Is it simply that ASUS intel usb 3.1 extensible host controller driver made på Gigabyte doesn't support ASPM?

Greetings,

Asus card, Gigabyte motherboard

By not enabling this feature are you missing out on something?

Does something not work?

Does the system go into sleep and wake normally?
