I can't get a z590 UD AC with 11600KF to boot. It stays on VGA Red LED.
Reading the manual there is some ambiguity as to what PSU is needed. I have a Be Quiet Pure Power Pro 600W. This PSU only has 1x P4+P4 connector. The Z590 manual does not state that you also need an extra 1x4 but also does not state that you do not need it:
12ATX1/2) ATX_12V_2X2/ATX_12V_2X4/ATX (2x2, 2x4, 12V Power Connectors and 2x12 Main Power Connector
With the use of the power connector, the power supply can supply enough stable power to all the components on the motherboard. Before connecting the power connector, first make sure the power supply is turned off and all devices are properly installed. The power connector possesses a foolproof design. Connect the power supply cable to the power connector in the correct orientation. The 12V power connector mainly supplies power to the CPU. If the 12V power connector is not connected, the computer will not start.
To meet expansion requirements, it is recommended that a power supply that can withstand high power consumption be used (500W or greater). If a power supply is used that does not provide the required power, the result can lead to an unstable or unbootable system
It does not say:
* You need a PSU with 2x4 (standard) and extra 1x4
* It will not boot if you do not have the extra 1x4 - it only says it will not boot if you do not "connect the 12v power connector", however that does not say BOTH the 1x4 and the 2x4
So will this board work with a standard PSU with this configuration? Or do I need to get a PSU with the extra EPS power?
