There is something seriously wrong with this latest bios that you're recommending we all use to stay safe from hacking.

You try and use profile 1 of any memory and the computer becomes very unstable, not even able to log into windows. (I've tried two different sets of brand new ram now) and the pc will only be stable on the default values. Everything was fine before this bios update. Bios update F36e.

Greetings,
I typically recommend against using beta BIOS', unless absolutely necessary.  You have a few options.  Go back to the last stable non-beta BIOS.

or

Set Memory timings manually in MIT or equivalent and use them until a newer non-beta BIOS is released.

No problems here with 36e using XMP1 (3200)  - use the default for a week then step up to 3200 .. it takes a while until 3200 gets stable with new ram.

okie dokie, I may do that then in a couple of weeks. I've tried twice so far and ended up in a reboot loop which drives me bonkers.  Thank you for your reply.

Looks like they've taken any bios off the website now, after F35.  They must be aware it's causing problems.
