Sound problem X670E Motherboard when Manual Fan profile used
« on: November 01, 2023, 11:34:17 pm »
Aorus X670E motherboard with latest Bios. (F13D). Not overclocked.
When playing any media content, the sound is punctuated with a loud Buzzing noise at about 5 second intervals.
After a lot of frustrating testing (checking all software is up to date etc), I've discovered that this problem occurs when any manual Fan speed profile is selected in either the BIOS or using GCC.
The only way to get normal sound is to set the fans to one of the predefined profiles.
Is this a BIOS issue?

GCC installed an update to the AMD Chipset today...the problem seems to have gone away.

Helpful info.  I use standard profiles, so have never experienced this.
