Thank you absic  :) and Mantis I do have an airconditioning unit at the top on the left. As said, while A/C is on at 25 deg the CPU temp drops by 2 deg ie., to 34 deg.
Well by mounting a 92 mm high CFM fan if I get a 1 deg drop i should be happy  :D

The only other thing is like they tend to do in Australia, take the side off the case and point a big desktop fan into the internals.

There is a customising idea of putting all the computer apart from the hard  drive in a tank full of light oil(usually cooking oil) and cooling it that way. It works alright but is a bit messy if you want to change anything or something goes wrong.  8) There are plenty of videos on the web if you google it.

I have seen them all. They use a acrylic or glass tank and use non conducting mineral oil.

Looks cool but a bit too messy for me I think.  ;D And just imagine the mess if you had a leak from that! :o

Something along those lines. Mind you I did wonder about the salt and vinegar!  ;)

Hi Babdi,

considering where you are in the world I don't think you will be able to get much better temps than those.  And you've even managed a bit of overclocking too. Well done!  :D

Thanks absic !. Now I am to start tweaking to take OC to 4.2 ghz.
This is how I am planning to do.
1) Downclock memory to 1333 Mhz. If this fails downclock to 1066 Mhz.
2) increase HTT so that I increase CPU and memory together.

Am I on the right track ?

Yes you're heading in the right direction. I don't think you will need to pull your RAM back to 1066MHz to get to 4.2 but it's nice to see that you are prepared to go that way if needed.

Good luck and keep us posted!  ;)
