OK! I have sent them a question, little modified, so We'll se what kind of answer we can get. I wrote:

"Dear sis, I have noticed that you have removed Core Boost chip and related components on Rev. 2.1 of motherboard. Will you be so kind to explain the purpose of this action, and are you experienced any problem with Core Boost chip in the past, so you were forced to remove the same? Am I, on my revision 2.1, ain't gonna enjoy benefits of hardware core unlocking, as it was possible on rev. 2.0?"

Let's wait for a while, but I shell inform you on any progres!

Cheers

Dear Nikola ,

Thank you for your kindly mail and inquiry. Don't worry that we just change it as BIOS controll so that there's no chip need to open Core boost.

If you still have any further question or suggestion about our products/service, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will try our best to help you resolve the problem ASAP.

Regards,
GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY

So, after so much marketing about Core Boost technology, they just removed the chip and everything is on software now. But they still promoting Core Boost on 2.1 revision. :D ??? As I assumed, everything I wrote before is actually true!

Hi and thanks for sharing that reply. Most interesting and yes it was fairly much as you suspected. I wonder which was the most efficient?
