I see what you mean but I don't understand how it would work like that. The processor and memory are just hardware that is used to process and relay the information, I can't see how they would force a latency problem.

Yes I know. And I don't understand too. But I think something is not right with the processor, ram or operating system, drivers.
I will see, when I've some time and install different system, drivers. Yesterday I run prime95 and on the beginning the drop outs was above  25000. And one 2 red stripes in the beginning of the test.
When I have something new I will write about it.

Ideally it would be good if you could start off with a fresh install of the OS and then see what happened as you installed one thing at a time and tested constantly.
