GA-P55A UD3 bios modification?

GA-P55A UD3 bios modification?
« on: August 20, 2010, 03:48:41 pm »
This is an appeal.  Would like to know how I would go about modifying my boards bios.  To be exact, I would like to alter the memory multipliers/straps, I need 1-1 or less multiplier.  I need this for a competition, I understand the risks involved, so please help.

Many thanks

If you enter the BIOS and go the the MIT section you can enable the memory manually and if there are any advanced settings they will be avilable by pressing Ctrl + F1. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply.

I have changed the memory before, I go into MIT/advanced memory settings/system memory multiplier(SPD), within that there are only auto/6.0 8.0 & 10.0 to select from.  The setting 6.0 only gives me a ratio of 4-12 memory multiplier, I would like lower.  I also tried pressing Ctrl+F1 but that does nothing.

Any other suggestions please? :)

No I am afraid that if the option is not available in the BIOS then short of using a modified BIOS instead I don't know how you would do it.
