MA785GM-US2H memory suggestions

I will doing a build with this board and a AthlonII X3 440.Lite gaming-general use.Would like suggestions on compatible memory.Thanks

Hi Trigger,

You don't say what revision the motherboard is (there are 4 versions) or how much RAM you want. Also, if you could update your User Profile (there's a link at the top of the page) so we know where you are in the world, it will be easier to  point you in the right direction.

It is worth noting that if you want to run more than 2 sticks of RAM you will be limited to 800MHz RAM Modules as 1066MHz is only supported by 1 DIMM per Channel.

Thanks for the reply.Profile changed.The board is a 3.3 rev.I am looking at 4 GB .Will be running Win 7 32 bit Ive found a good price on A-DATA  Model AD2U800B2G5-DRH   and Kingston HyperX model# KHX8500D2K2  and  CORSAIR TWIN2X4096-6400C5C G .Each is around 69.00 US.Any other suggestions would be welcome.

Hi Trigger, appreciate you updating your profile as it really helps if we know where you as this forum is UK based.

Personally I would go for the Corsair but that is only because I normally use their RAM and have had very few problems. The thing to check for really, apart from the speed, is the voltage your choice of RAM will need. The motherboard specs say it supports RAM rated at 1.8V so I would be looking for RAM at around this. The A-DATA modules are OK and the Corsair are a little higher at 1.9V. The Kingston is rated at 2.2V which would deter me from getting those.
