GA-X58A-UD3R REV 2.0 DON´T DETECTS MUSHKIN CALLISTO DELUXE 60GB

The last week I buy a new computer:

HD SSD - Mushkin Callisto Deluxe 60GB SSD - MKNSSDCL60GB-DX operating system
HD 3.5 SATA - WD Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 MAESTRO - WD1002FAEX$ STORAGE
box ATX - Antec Three Hundred - 300*
Antec TruePower New 750W Modular - TP750*
Nvidia PCI Express - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 470 OC 1028MB GDDR5
Grabadoras DVD/Blu Ray - LG GH22LP20 Grabadora DVD LightScribe ATA 22X Negra OEM - GH22LP20

The big problem, I see my mushkin ssd HD in bios, but in windows install I can´t, I tried put it in IDE, in ACHI, alone with WD CAVIAR disconected, in SATA2_0/1/2/3/4/5.... everything, and I can´t install windows because windows don´t detects my hd ssd, any help???

Is this a brand new SSD drive or have you used it before?

Hi Dark, yes the mushkin ssd callisto deluxe is new, I tried test it trhough hirens cd, and I can see the disk.

Yes i formated it, nfts.... whit an utilitie of hirens cd, because windows 7 install don´t detcts it

What port have you got it attached to?

Ccurrently, in GSATA2_8/9, but i tried in all.

Move it back to SATA2_0
move your DVD drive to SATA2_3
In the BIOS set mode to IDE for both and set to Native IDE
Make SSD primary HDD
Make SSD top boot device (you can press F12 to boot from the DVD for installation)

My dvd unit is ATA not SATA, I attach it on IDE port

Yes ok. Make sure that port is set to IDE in BIOS.
One thing I would say is that SATA and IDE don't seem to mix well on one board. More often than not there will be some problem. It might be better for you to replace the IDE drive with a new SATA one especially for the negligable price.

ok I detach DVD unit, and I´ll try install windows via usb flash, ok?

Yes good idea.
You will need to set up the BIOS to enable booting from USB. Do you know how to do that?

ok... now i can see the drive on windows install, but say that windows can´t install on this unit

If that's the case chances are it is either formatted wrongly or not made bootable. Are you talking about the USB drive or the SSD?
