Hi there,
they have just started to become available in the UK but, at the moment, supplies are very limited. As they are so new, I don't know anybody that has one so can't comment on how good they are.

I've only found a couple of Sapphire cards available at SCAN UK but I guess it will take a little while, like it did for the 5 series, before stocks come through.

Yes the only cards I could find were all Sapphire but that is normal as they are part of ATI and so get a head start on the other manufacturers. ;)

Well, as they are my GPU of choice I don't object to that.  ;) But, I don't think I will be upgrading just yet. I like the fact that I can run 3 monitors off of my 4850X2 without any reall hassle. Only issue I have is with ATI Drivers assuming that I want to run Crossfire all the time!  ::)

Err..Is it worth to change my 4770 into a 6870?
Or should I choose a 5870?(Price may drop after 6xxx series were out...)
And about available brands, my side have Gigabyte, Sapphire, and ASUS(?)on stock

Well I must admit I was tempted there for a moment but I think prudence is to wait and see what problems are detected and updates are made.

If you're looking for sheer performance then go for 5870. From what I've read it's actually slightly more powerful than the 6870.

These cards are nice but nothing revolutionary, really.

That's pretty much the conclusion I came to after reading all the specs. There is very little diffference so far between the 5xxx and 6xxx series. Actually what shocked me more than anything was the price! To see that they had rolled them out at £100 cheaper than the previous generation of cards. Very unusual. :o
