Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

Does it give any beep code when it is booting?

What PSU are you using?

What other cards/drives have you got installed?

hi and thx Dark Mantis
'Does it give any beep code when it is booting?'
No . just normal beep
its show first giga screen then stuck on a Blinker dash
if i wait for 5-6 min . it show "Loading Operation system..."
and stuck there :(

'What PSU are you using?'
if PSU is Power-supply
its 500W Cooler-Master

'What other cards/drives have you got installed?'
A SAPPHIRE HD 5570 1GB
and a old zoltrix dial-up modem

i tried something that may help :
1-i changed first boot to DVD-ROM and put a boot able CD on it to see if  it stuck when try boot from DVD-Rom
and i saw that stuck on boot from DVD-ROM too , so i got it must not cause Hard-disk or Windows .
2- I set bios setup to "default and Fail-safe default" but it didn't help too :((

sorry for my bad English /shy

Hi and don't worry about your English it is fine. ;)

How old is your PSU?

Have you checked all the power connections to the motherboard?  There should be a 24 pin and an 8 pin.

It's just that it sounds like a power problem to me.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS before you reset the BIOS settings?

If so I think that we need to remove the motherboard from the case and rebuild on the worktop.
Make sure that you observe anti-static precautions.

Lay some cardboard or something similar that is non-conductive on the worktop and remove the motherboard/CPU/heatsink/fan/buzzer/one stick of memory and PSU from the case and put it on the cardboard. Now I know you haven't got any graphics but try and boot. The system should try and then fail emitting a series of beeps. Please post what sounds it makes.

Hello

My problem is quite the same but I have made some observations.

When I turn on my PC with a button it passes BIOS loading screen and then gets stuck on a black screen with dash. It is the same when I restart my PC using Windows. I mean pressing "restart" in Windows start menu. It restarts and then gets stuck in the same way as in powering up.

BUT

System boots normally when I restart PC with button or when after powering up I enter BIOS. I don't have to change nothing just enter BIOS end then exit. After exiting BIOS PC always do automatic restart and then system boots normally.

My PSU is Chieftec Black Series 560W but I don't think it is power problem becouse if so it wouldn't be so predictable and it is predictable becouse it always acts in the same way. Also I connected another 3 HDD's and it was still the same.

Please help.

CPU: Intel i5-760
Mobo: Gigabyte P55-USB3 rev 2.0
GPU: Gainward GeForce 460GTX 1024MB
RAM: 2x2GB Patriot Viper 1333MHz DDR3
PSU: Chieftec Black Series 560W
HDD: WD 500GB Caviar Green + some old Samsung 80GB ATA with SATA adapter
OS: Windows 7 64bit Pro / Win XP 32bit (checked with only XP installed and still the same as with both of them)

I'm using BIOS which came with mobo - thought if it is rev 2.0 the BIOS is up to date ;). Still flashing BIOS is something I've never done and never needed to.

Have you got your memory inserted in the white slots? If not please do so.

Have you got the 12v EATX power adapter plugged in near the CPU?

It may be a simple as your PSU not supplying enough power on the 12V rail as it is a split rail system.

Memory is inserted in white slots for dual channel mode (DDR3_1 and DDR3_3) and yes - 2x4 12V are plugged in.
