GA-EX58A-EXTREME ? - no, it's GA-X58A-UD7 instead

Hey there!
Does anyone know about an estimated release time frame for the new GA-EX58A-EXTREME??? Was announced at Computex, has 24 phase and SATA rev. 3.0...and will be my next board  ;)

I just spoke to Gigabyte and those models will be most likely be for Asia only.  :-\

But the ...A.. models will be available wordwide as I understand! Did they say anything about a release date?

roughly it's in Aug / Sep, but it will be probably hard to get them in EU :(

Yes, all X58 boards will be compatible with the upcoming Intel Gulftown CPUs (32nm and 6-core), just a bios update!

6 core!!  Ok it might be time to upgrade.  I'm still on a two core bad boy!  I think I still have a socket 7 somewhere (not old enough to win the 'oldest motherboard comp though  :-[)

It should have SATA 3 (6 Gbit/s), USB 3.0 and 3x more power in USB, the same as these ones: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,763.0.html
