Hi there,

I have recently installed a RAID0 Array on the GA-890FXA-UD5 without encountering this problem.

Are you running latest BIOS for your motherboard?
If not update to latest version as there is an update to the RAID ROM which might help.

How are you trying to install the RAID Driver during Windows install?
I used a USB Stick and the latest driver from the Gigabyte Website.

Are you trying to load the correct driver?
When you download the drivers they come in a 7Zip file. When extracted there are drivers for both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 make sure you are picking the right one during the install.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.
