A Brazilian Overclocking event has managed to push an AMD Phenom II X4 975BE (with a bit of help from nitrogen) to a sizzling 7.13GHz, setting new highs in the world of AMD overclocking. The exact clock was 7134.31MHz just beating the previous recored of 7.127 GHz.
However the record is still held in the blue corner at 8242.45 MHz on an Intel celeron processor with the current lineup of Intel processors topping in at 7307.84 MHz.
