Asus P45Q Pro to Gigabyte X58UD3R

As above will a clean install of win 7 64 bit be required,a repair install or will it be ok as they are both intel chipsets.

Hi

You might just get away with a repair install but personally I wouldn't be happy with that and would do a complete re-install of the OS. ;)

Thanks Darkmantis,now on temps running at 4.0ghz with megahalems with push pull sharkoon silent eagle 2000rpm fans and getting 48,46,44,45,degrees on core temp.Are these temps too high on idle,what should they be roughly,anyone else running similar.

Depending on the ambient temperature of the room and your overclock I wouldn't say they are too bad. A little on the high side but if the room is warm...
