There was only one person on there with a Gigabyte card at the very end and most of the thread was just arguing over who was right. To be honest a waste of time.

I am not sure if you realise but we don't actually work for Gigabyte, and we are not Tech Support in the normal sense of the wording. We are just like you, other Gigabyte users who try and help each other find solutions to their problems.

As for the 17 pages all I could get was one page, there was no sign of the other 16!

Happy New Year.

Gigabyte know that one part of a 6850 series is fake. Memory chip or somthing else and they know that very well.
But this is way to lying people when they can not do anything. About 1000 people never buy Gigabyte if they dont solve this and I with them because I will not take a risk next time when buy motherboard and graphic cards. They pretend that all is well but in office i I think it's hell.

I think twice next time when buy cards why is Asus expensive. This is answer.

My 5870 works good for now but if they pretend that all is well and so many people need hackers hand to try overvolt, ... and other ways to correct everything else on cards and nothing works and they talk only in Serbia. OK Only in Serbia why my card is Serbia is good.
People in Serbia love problems with cards,...

World financial crisis mostly caught Gigabyte anmd this is way to make money fast. Before they test cards enough.
Every other producere replace this cards with good.
THIS CARDS NOT WORKING AND ITS SO CLEAR.

But Gigabyte know what is problem and that it exists.

For Gigabyte most important is advertising for 6900 series, now. Fake part of 6850 series, never mind. OK Gigabyte loses.
From today my mission is that people next year caution in this case and behavior of Gigabyte as everything is OK.
They should be conscientious in makinmg VGA BIOS and good drivers such as in advertisements of new craphic cards.

Your first answer (first time) after one week tell me everything. You can only pretend you dont know what it is.
My suggestions for people next years is to be very very careful with Gigabyte and when  buy Gigabyte. And its not my crazy brain. Read my early post and satisfaction with my(5870) but i cant remember somthing similar with other producer, HIS, XFX no, no, Asus, Saphire no way.

Maybe this is option like Gigabyte says. Buy our cards, not working, never mind put cards below bed and waiting new BIOS. Maybe next month, mqaybe next year. Until this not happen buy our new series.

Thanks a lot i think about that @@@@@, now goodbay.

One guy buy card in France and same problem. f*** you. Only in Serbias, only in Serbia. Stupid people.  There is no reason to lie.
We give a lot more money than people in EU on hardware. If you have our pay you would not change mouse. Not graphic card. Hardware in Serbia is expensive than in EU. 300-400e mounthly pay. We give half and more from hardware. f*** you because think we lie. \
Gigabyte made cards with defect memory chip. That is only true.
Should I reapet  100 times. First GIGABYTE 6850 SERIES IS FAKE AND GIGABYTE SALE FAKE CARDS.
BUT THIS IS NOT END. GIGABYTE AND PEOPLE THAT PROTECT GIGABYTE UNPLEASANTLY TRYING TO SHOW AS EVERYTHING IS ALL RIGHT.
ONLY IN SERBIA, YOU ARE SO, SO... I DON'T KNOW WORD ON ENGLISH TO SAY THAT.

Dear friends when next time buy some Gigabyte hardware wait 2-3 mounths for test.  They will do again same thing with more expensive cards.
I call GIGACRASH from now all hardware from Gigabyte.

Dark Mantis Where are you dear Giga advocate. Only in Serbia.
Gigabyte must be carefull in Serbia because office burn easy If people are unhappy. They want cood cards, they want only what they paid.
6850 must be replaced with GeForce or other good series.
Dear Giga Liars.

Hi

I can assure you that it doesn't benefit me in any way to cover up any of Gigabyte's failures and if you check through many of my other posts you will see I am often the first one to "call them out"  and decry them. If you don't believe me just ask runn3R the Gigabyte administrator of this forum.

When I said that I hadn't heard of any other problems with this card before, it was a truthful statement and even now from the posts on the forum it still appears to be mainly Serbia and Hungary that are suffereing from this problem. That in no way makes it right and whatever price you are paying for your hardware you are entitled to have it performing properly.

I don't know the retail laws in your country but if you purchase faulty goods can you not return them for a refund?
This would be the quickest way of getting Gigabyte's attention as it would cost them money and no company likes that.

As I said before I am not connected to Gigabyte and if there is any way in which I can help rectify this attrocious problem I am more than happy to  do it.

I will continue to watch this thread and see if there is anything I can do in your aid.

Same problem, same story.
The problem is how to Gigabjte and at an authorized service center in Serbia.
No one admits defect. We will join forces to fight for our rights.
I can not understand a giant Gigabjte, who is not prepared to respond and show the size and protect its customers. Wise to remain silent and ignore the problem.

I think gigabjte will not be my choice

Resistance is Futile !!!
