Thanks for your updated info on this problem and I would agree it would seem like the cards would need RMAing to have a hardware fix if that is the case.

Well , in my country Gigabyte doesn't want to please their customers. I've RMAed the card for the 3rd time this week , and everybody says that it's 100% OK. Don't know what to say , but this bad attitude towards customers will bring Gigabyte down.

Dark Mantis , please , give me a straight contact adress to express my problems to the Gigabyte Mother. This isn't excusable , to treat your customers like this it's outrageous.

Thx for your support.

Hi fullrespect,

You don't say where you are located geographically so the best I can do is to give you the GGTS details and take it up with them.

Just enter your email address and click on the language of choice.
GGTS   http://ggts.gigabyte.com/

Don't expect a fast response but they will answer and hopefully you will get a better service than you appear to be getting so far from your retailer.

After threatening the local Gigabyte Service with customers protection services they finally are alive.  ::) I don't know for sure if this time the card will be replaced , but the chances are improved.

It's frustrating because this story seems endless. I'll keep you in touch with new infos. Thx again.

Hi everyone,

I've been recently having an issue with my computer that involves the monitor losing signal (screen goes black and the 'no signal' sign comes up) and the computer freezing..(The sound gets stuck and repeats the same sound). Although the computer stays on but nothing can be done except a hard reset.

This only happens when I play CS:Source..about after a full hour of gaming.

I've tried googling similar issues but found no solid answers..
My only clue is that I updated MSI Afterburner from 2.1.0 beta 6 to 2.1.0 beta 7...

Could this be the issue?
It feel like it's my graphics card..

I'm planning to test the computer again with stock mem/core and see if the computer locks up again...

Can't even produce a minidump
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

FYI: My gaming temps during CS: Source were usually between 48-54 Degrees Celsius. FPS averaging around 299 with everything maxed out.

Edit: I let OCCT run for an hour straight and completed the test without errors. 950/1150 (stock voltage)

I also notice weird textures in BFBC2 which seems like artifacting even at stock 775/1005 settings....

What's wrong with my card?

Well it does sound like your card although it is hard to prove at the moment. My advice would be to run it at stock until you can sort out the problem. At least that way you know it has nothing to do with overclocking the card.

Make sure that you are running the latest firmware on the GPU and the latest BIOS for the motherboard. Also use the newest drivers for the card and motherboard chipset.
