The card certainly looks good, I am just waiting for mine to be delivered. Nice temps at idle but what are they like on load and what about fan noise?

Looks very promising. Mine is on the way and then it is time for a rebuild. Can't wait. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews about the card not living up to expectations but from your experience there it seems fine for what I want at least. 8)

Hi DM don't tell me your thinking of going AMD all the way, I had my doubts aswell, the nvidia cards 570 and 580 looked good but a gut feeling made me wait AMD, here is a benchmark i was asked to do I don't know much about it do you.

No not at the moment ;) I have run AMD system in the past many times and been very happy with their performance on the whole. In fact my first ventures into overclocking and  watercooling were done on AMD platforms.

Have you uploaded your results to see how they compare with others? They don't look to bad to me but obviously it is a comparison benchmark and so you need to have some others to compare against.

I will! It has just turned up. I bought the Sapphire 6970 as I have always had good experiences with them in the past even though they tend to be a little more expensive. I am just waiting on the full cover water block now and I can start my rebuild.
