Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

Good question! If only the company would give us an insight I would try and answer it for you.
To be honest we are not employed by Gigabyte and so only get fed information on a somewhat piecemeal basis. I would advise you to check the Gigabyte website for company blurb. Probably this is a good starting point:

http://www.gigabyte.com/gigabyte.aspx?s=35
Gigabyte X58A-UD7
i7 920
Dominators 1600 x6 12GB
6970 2GB
HX850
256GB SSD, Sam 1TB, WDB320GB
Blu-Ray
HAF 932

Gigabyte Z68X-UD5-B3
i7 3770K
Vengeance 1600 16GB
6950 2GB
HCP1200W
Revo Drive x2, 1.5TB WDB RAID0
16x DLRW
StrikeX S7
Full water cooling
3 x 27" Iiy

I would suggest trying to contact the Advertising and Marketing Manager because that would be the best person to answer your questions.

There's no info on their site that states those things.  I would imagine it's "to be the world's number one choice for your IT component needs" :) or something similar.
