Sandy Bridge Overclocking Guide

Here comes GIGABYTE Sandy Bridge OC Guide.

If this platform (Socket 1155 CPU, P67 chipset) architecture is new for you then this topic is worth reading first.

Wow, nice guide!

I have to say I'm impressed with Sandy Bridge so far. Before launch I thought it would be just a minor improvement of the i-series processors and nothing to really get excited about. Obviously, I've been wrong. I think AMD may have a hard time catching up.

Still, I'll try and stay away from new processors till 2012 :P.

Man, easily going over 4Ghz on air is... tempting ;D

Let's not forget about power consumption, either ;)

Well I managed 4.7 Ghz on air with only tweaking the multiplier so given a bit of time and effort I reckon I should be able to improve on that a bit.

Hi

The "Download" button doesn't work for some reason. I will ask runn3R to have a look at it but I seem to remember that it was something to do with security measures.

You could just print it.

Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

although this isnt exactly the same motherboard with a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 I still should be able to use this as a guide correct?

There is nothing funny about that Gloup_Gloup  runn3R  in particular often uses it for uploading.

Hi runn3D and Dark Mantis.

What I find funny is that you can download documents on this site. Once it has registered and log in.

I apologize if I offended you.
