GA EX58-UD4P Keyboard/Mouse error
« on: July 31, 2009, 04:59:15 pm »
Greetings all
I recently purchased a Gigabyte EX58-UD4P motherboard to go with my new i7-920 chip. Although my pc boots without error and I can use the keyboard to access the bios, whenever i boot into XP it's as if the keyboard and mouse are no longer detected which means I am unable to install the new drivers for windows.  I've tried using my Merc Stealth keyboard and Razer Deathadder mouse via USB and also a separate keyboard and mouse combination via the two allocated ports in the rear with the same results. As I'm using a Corsair HX1000w psu with 6gb [3x2gb] of Corsair DDR3 ram I feel that I have enough power and memory to be able to successfully boot my pc.  Any information/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance
