GA-H67MA-UD2H - F6 BIOS won't install.
« on: January 26, 2011, 11:51:35 pm »
I have a GA-H67MA-UD2H.  Tried installing the F6 BIOS by placing the BIOS file on a USB flash drive and running the q-flash program during boot.  I get a message though that the new BIOS is incorrect or invalid.  Has anyone else experienced this?

How do I flash this F6 BIOS?  I don't want to flash from within Windows.

Look at this:

http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3655#bios

I also read that once you get to F6 or later, you can then use QFlash.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

Yes this is a known issue and can be fixed by downloading the latest version of @BIOS from the website along with the BIOS update that yoiu want to use and flashing that way the first time.

After the initial update you will be free to use QFlash again as normal. ;)
