M68M-s2P no graphics output
« on: February 11, 2011, 07:16:03 am »
Have just put together my first machine in six years. I know I have power - fans and hard drive spinning up. I just have no video output from the onboard grahics, which kind of hinders everything else!! I've tried 2 different monitors, both of which I know to work but no joy.Other than a DOA I am clueless. Any help appreciated.

My first thought would be that your processor isn't supported by your BIOS/motherboard. Can you post exactly which CPU it is?

You got me thinking that maybe, maybe the CPU wasn't seated quite in properly. It is now and I have a screen :-) Cheers thank you. How can I rate your answers on here?

Hi,
if you appreciate the help given you can click the "Applaud" button below the poster's name. This will increas the Karma total by +1  ;D
If you don't think the help given is very good then you can hit the "smite" button instead This will decrease the Karma by - 1  :'(

Regarding the karma, I am not 100% sure but there is a limit before which you cannot give nor take away points. I have a feeling that it is 5 posts.
