Question about the GV-N570OC-13I Design
« on: February 07, 2011, 04:25:03 pm »
Hello everyone, I have a question that I hope you can help me with.
Within a week Im going to be buying a new GTX 570 GPU, and Ive had my eyes on the Gigabyte Windforce 3X. Ive heard quite a few stories about reference design GTX 570's VRMs dieing  because of the power phase design being just barely enough to handle the power going through them. So I wanted to know what the power phase design on this card is like ? I know that this card has 1 6-pin and 1 8-pin power connecter, over the reference designs 2 6-pins, so I thought that maybe it had more phases aswell ?
I hope someone will be able to answer this for me. This is not a thread about wether or not the reference design GTX 570 has a bad phase design, but about what the Windforce 3X's is like.
Thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

I don't think you will find the answer you are looking for on this forum I am afraid but it is worth a try. Just in case nobody can help I would advise trying to ask GGTS even though they will probably take a few days to answer.

Just enter your email address and click on the language of choice.
