GA-X58A-UD3R Rev2.0 + AR5BXB72 AR5008 PCI-E wireless card causes cold boot?

I just bought a MiniPCI to PCIX1 card for an AR5BXB72 AR5008 PCI-E wireless card.

Everything work so far on my GA-X58A-UD3R Rev2.0 except I can't shutdown the computer now.
It will auto start (Cold Boot)after the power LED went out.

Tried optimum setings.
Tried fresh install with win7.
Tried the settings on Bios start computer with LAN = off.

When Card is not installed it works fine...

Anyone have problem same card?

My Spec:
MB: X58A-UD3R 2.0
CPU: i7 950
RAM: 24 GB ADATA 1333
GFX: ELSA 796 GT Silent
HDDs: OCZ SSD Vertex 2
OD: LG GH20NS10
PWR: HEC WIN+ 750W

Or if you have the same card and everything works fine, Please let me know too.

Thanks.

Have you checked in the BIOS to see if it is looking for the LAN BIOS to boot from?

The setting i was referring to is in Pic 9 and is Onboard LAN boot ROM. It is already set to disabled so no help there I am afraid.

Try disabling the power saving modes C1E, C3 etc and see if they make any difference. You could also try the S1, S3 diasbled too. Often they are the cause of this type of problem.

Just tried it...
Didn't work.

Tried disabling PME too,
Tried turning off power supply and pressing the case power to reset mobo power, wait 5 min too.

That didn't work too.

Do you think i might have a faulty mobo?

It is always possible but I tend to think not as it all works fine until your wireless card is installed.

Are you running the latest BIOS version on the motherboard and the latest firmware/drivers on the wirelesss card?

Yes, Bios FE
Yes latest firmware. (the one everyone who got it working is using)

I have tried clean reinstalling windows 7, with card in motherboard but deleted the driver and cutting the connection of windows to the card.

hmm, Even if the card have problem, restart should be controlled by motherboard.
They might think I'm a coo for asking them the question.

I am going to try it with my EP35-DS4 to see if the restart problem occurs...
If not, I think it is safe to say that something is wrong with my GA-X58A-UD3R Rev2.0?

If you have any more solution, please let me know.

Thanks a bunch!

If you feel that the motherboard is faulty then you need to RMA it back to your retailer. To be honest I don't think that will help but it is your choice. If you purchased it all from the same place see if they will accept it all back for testing.

Ohh, You have no idea how bad gigabyte Japan or distributor CFD's support here,
Reply is Slow.....and I fell like I am talking to robot. (hmmm maybe?)

That is why i have decided to fix the problem on my own,
Worst comes to it buy other banded board.

The person you have refer me to says he has no idea.

If you can refer me to another person, or a solution that would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm sorry that Japan's Gigabyte service is so poor. The only thing I can suggest is to try talking directly to GGTS in Taiwan.
