LG TV Video driver for GA-890GPA-UD3H via hdmi onboard port
« on: February 27, 2011, 05:23:48 pm »
I have an LG 47LX9500 that's connected to my GA-890GPA-UD3H via the HDMI onbaord port. The desktop is running Win7 Pro.

My issue is that monitor driver is generic and doesn't use the full screen of the TV. Since Windows doesn't have driver, doesn't anyone know if LG will make a Win compatible driver for LG HDTVs?

Hi there,

The problem could actually be with your graphics drivers rather than with your TV.
Which Graphic Card are you using? If it is ATI card there is an issue when connecting via HDMI and it is to do with overscan settings. You might want to check this thread: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,3559.0.html
