Ati radeon x1550 cyclic reboots before windows starts! Please help, don't know what to do anymore!
There's no "Dual DisplayFunction" in the Advanced Bios Features menu, but the manual says it has!!!!
I could only get through it when I disabled the Azalia HDA Controller, but then I get no sound!!!!
I don't know what's wrong!!!!!!!

Hi

It might help a bit if you could calm down and set your problems out a little clearer. The graphics card you are using is quite old. Have you made sure that the drivers are the newest available and that the motherboards BIOS is up to date also ?

Sorry, man but, it's just that I don't understand why it doesn't work!
And yep, the drivers are the newest and I have already updated the bios myself.
The Bios is ga-vm900m rev. 2.0 FC

Right well then I think the best course of action is to clear the CMOS as a starting point. Have you replaced the motherboard battery recently ? If not I would do that first. It will take a CR2032 type button cell. Once done follow these instructions please.

Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.

Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least one hour before replacing it.
 
Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.
 
You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Opimised BIOS Defaults.

Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self like disabling the floppy drive, disabling the full screen logo and making the HDD the primary boot device and then press F10 to save and exit.

I've just tried it, but it didn't work either...
I followed the steps you told me but.. no luck
Is there any other possibility?

Oh! Well that is probably where you went wrong. We are always advising people to not use that program as it is far more dangerous because it is running on top of the OS. There are far more chances that it will go wrong. I expect the update failed and now you have a board with a corrupt BIOS.

Try following these instructions exactly to get the backuop BIOS to kick in and reflash the main BIOS.

You can kick in the backup BIOS by shutting down the PSU from the wall, then hold down your case power button in and then turn on the power supply button, a few seconds later the board will start, shut off the power supply then.   

Then you can turn on the power supply again and power up the board normally and DualBIOS will kick in.
