P67A-UD3-B3 has major problems with turning on after going into sleep

My system often has problems recovering from sleep, especially if it has been in sleep for more than a few hours.  I am using the P67A-UD3-B3 motherboard with the newest F3 BIOS.  My system passes 12+ hours each of Prime95 Blend, LinX, and Memtest86+, so I am relatively sure that it is stable.  However, when I try to turn on the computer from sleep, it sometimes will not turn on at all and will go into an endless loop of turning off, turning on for a few seconds, turning off again, turning on again for a few seconds, and so on.  

The only way to fix this issue is to reset CMOS.  But a few days later, the problem will inevitably happen again.  This is my second P67A-UD3 board (my first one was RMA'd for a newer B3 one due to the SATA bug).  The first P67A-UD3 I had also had the exact same issue with coming out of sleep, even after multiple BIOS updates and tweaks.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Core i5-2500K @ 4.4 GHz (1.292v @ 100% load in Windows)
2x4GB DDR3-1333
Intel x-25M G2 80GB (newest 02M3 Firmware)-boot drive
Hitachi Deskstar 1TB 7200.C
WD 500GB 7200 RPM
Galaxy GTX 460 GC
Cooler Master Hyper 212+
Corsair GS 600 PSU

Windows 7 x64 Professional with latest updates

This is a known problem with an overclocked system coming out of sleep.

On another case of similar problems this is from Lsdmeasap

I am not sure if they will be able to fix this, or if it's an Intel Microcode fault?   It's been a known issue for a while, so it may be something they cannot address.

I have not enabled CPU PLL Overvoltage in order to reach my relatively moderate 4.4 GHz overclock.  PLL overvoltage is needed to go higher, but not for 4.4.  So since I don't have this feature enabled, what would cause the endless reboot loops upon coming out of sleep?

I read this review from Newegg regarding the P67A-UD3:

Power up --> after ~2 seconds power down --> power up --> after ~2 seconds power down --> (repeat)

When only both of the blue memory slots are occupied: everything is fine, computer starts up, windows is running for a whole day without rebooting.

When only both of the White memory slots are occupied: sometimes the computer enters a reboot loop when powered on and sometimes it starts normally but occasionally reboots

I have my DIMMs in the 2 white slots, but why would that cause an endless reboot loop?

I think that probably is the problem then as I have juist checked and if you are using only two modules they should be in the Blue slots. DDR3_1 and DDR3_3

But why should it matter which slots the DIMMs are in?  The manual suggests that you can use either 1/3 or 2/4 when only using two DIMMs.

This also leads to another issue.  If I ever plan to upgrade to 16GB RAM (4x4GB), then I must use the white slots, so wouldn't that lead to system instability?

It shouldn't matter which slots are used but sometimes it can make a difference when only using two. Try it and see. If you still have a problem then it isn't that. :-\
