GA-X58-UD5 endless reboot

Hi!

Really need some help here, thanks in advance  

Spec:

CPU: i7 920 c0/1 @ 2.66ghz
RAM:Corsair TWIN3X 1600MHz DDR3, 6GB, DHX+, Kit w/3x 2GB XMS3 modules, CL8-8-8-24
GFX: Evga 480 x2 sli
HDD: 4x WD 500gb - 2TB
PSU:Chieftec Nitro Series BPS-1200 1200W PSU
Cooling: Watercooled EK blocks
BIOS: F12

Okei the problem is, after I installed all the water cooling bits i set it all up, and was gone run a test on the system.
I then got the C1 error (thats memory right?)

it was OC to 3.6GHz(really dont remember all the settings there atm) with the Corsair H50 and memory was running 1600Mhz 8-8-8-24 stepping with 1.65V

Then i did reset the Cmos with the button,also removed the battery at that point
When i then rebooted it it said C1 for a sec, then it moved to C3,23,44,02 and so one, it did display the Gigabyte logo then rebooted before you even had the possibility to hit something on the keyboard, and it just kept going over and over and over.

So i removed 1 card, unplugged all fans, all HDD, all connectors to the front panel(power, reset, usb, FW, esata ect)
started the Pc with the button on the MB, same thing, endless reboot after gigabyte logo is displayed

I then removed all the memory, and tried 1 and 1 stick in all the white memory slots, same freaking thing
Then i put the sticks in the blue ones, just getting C1 error.

Then i switched PSU to a corsair TX 850w, same thing

Then i gave 1 stick to my friend and i started to boot that up on his PC with ASUS Mb. booted right up, dont know if he had any memory testing on it though, will ask him today

Then switched back to the Original PSU, removed the battery for 1 hour, pressed the RESET CMOS at the back again for 30 sec, then started t, same thing!

Then I removed the GFX card to the slot under the topone, same thing
also loosened the screws that holds the cpu cooler up, same thing


Have ordered me some "other" memory (as my friend has the exact same memory as me)
did order this:
   Corsair Dominator DHX+ DDR3 1600MHz 6GB
Kit w/3x 2GB XMS3 DHX+, CL8-8-8-24, for Core i7, C

so any help would be fantastic, i am really out of ideas, except that the MB mya have gone to hell
Though when that is said, i did try and click on the rested button(restart) on the MB... could this cause all this, if its hanged up somehow?

Hi

Well the first thing to do is to remove the overclock so that you have a stock system to start from.

If you still havbe the same problem disconnect everything that is not essential ie just keep the CPU/heatsink/fan, buzzer/speaker, one stick of memory in DRR3_1, and the PSU and see what beeps it makes if you try and boot up.

as said, you cant get into any bios
it just reboot to fast

also as said, have disconnected everything except water pump

You say you have cleared the CMOS but did you do an extended clear like this:

PLease follow these instructions EXACTLY

Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.

Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least one hour before replacing it.
 
Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.
 
You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Opimised BIOS Defaults.

Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self like disabling the floppy drive, disabling the full screen logo and making the HDD the primary boot device and then press F10 to save and exit.
