Hi

Is your system overclocked at all or is it running at stock speeds ?

Make sure that you are using the latest BIOS version and have the newest drivers installed.

I notice that your motherboard is one of the original  versions and should have been returned as per the recall annoucement. Contact your retailer for a replacement.

Thank You for the reply...

Everything is set to standard/default, I have ensured all drivers etc are up to date as is OS and software.

A few minutes prior to this posting I spoke to the seller ( Scan ) who were not only unhelpful but were only to happy to quote that they had up a disclaimer on their website and would only refund and refused to offer a replacement board, another lost customer here.  :'(

Scan isisted the only way I could obtain a replacement board was via Gigabyte, and mentioned an online claim form, however they were not able to tell where the link was or how to find it!

Hi

I don't know why but the form was removed from our forum a few days ago. Maybe they just thought that it was all over now? I would suggest asking GGTS for help here.

No I don't agree. You should be covered by Gigabyte's three year warranty if by nothing else. Please let us know how things turn out though and if you need any more help just post back.

Hello Dark Mantis

Just an Update..    Contacted Gigabytes rma returns Dept, They said they will replace current board  ;D

So many thanks again but for your help i'd have been in a right mess...   should here they say in about 2 weeks, only thing they did not say was what board they are sending me, do not know if it will be equal to the one going back or inferior,   thats is the worrying bit for me, daft as it sounds  lol.

Many thanks again

Hi

Well that is good news but no less than I would have expected from Gigabyte. ;)

You needn't worry about it being replaced with an inferior product because Gigabyte's policy is that if a product needs replacing it will be returned as the same or a better quality model.
