X58-USB3 and SLI

Hi all,

Is it possible to put 2 gpu's in sli in the gigabyte x58-usb3 mobo?

I already have one Gigabyte GTX460 OC.

Yes it most certainly is possible. You should have no problems as long as your PSU is powerful enough.

Thanks for the quick reply.

It just seems as though the space between the gpu and the pci slot is too little.

Except if the second pci-e slot is at the bottom and not the second one down?

you should have three PCIE slots for PCIE cards. The top one is PCIE x16_1 the default slot and then the next down is PCIEx16_2 for the next GPU with the bottom one being a PCIEx4_1 which is only four speed.

There is not a lot of space between the cards when installed but that is the norm.
