No H.D.D. S.M.A.R.T. in Vista with motherboard GA-N680SLI-DQ6 (rev. 1.0)

Hi there guys. I'm new to this community. I have a problem that i cannot get over. I own a pc with GA-N680SLI-DQ6 (rev. 1.0) motherboard. The problem is that when i use XP (32-bit &64-bit) i get hard disk smart status with the appropriate programms. When i try to do that in Vista, all the programms report that no hard disk found. Keep in mind that i have all the latest drivers and latest BIOS version F5. The problem is only in Vista, in XP everything is working like a  charm. Anyone please help.

Hi vlapelos

its seems to be software issue, like incompability of the software you use for smart monitoring with Vista OS. Is has nothing to do with the hardware itself.
If you enabled smart in bios then you can see its status each time you boot on the post screens.
ZX-S & C64 are still my favourites ;-)
