BSOD AFTER REPLACING CPU

hi.

i have X48TDQ6 mobo.

i run the computer with q6600 cpu for about a year with no problems.

couple of days ago i replace the cpu to qx9650 and from than i keep geting bluescreens during playing games or regular use.

i update my bios to the latest revision. all the drivers up to date.

no changing nothing in bios settings and no o.c.

Your new processor draws 215W at full speed, and the Q6600 (B3) draws 105W and the (G0) 95W. I wonder if it could be a psu issue, what's the power supply you have?

What's the core temps when you play the games, also what cooler do you have attached to the cpu. While your at it what ram do you have in the PC.

Did you reset the bios and reinstall the OS when you changed over?
