AVIVA K8100 TOUCH SCREEN VOLUME CONTROL
« on: May 31, 2011, 03:14:49 am »
:'( Hi having a problem just purchased one of your Aviva K8100
keyboards and the touch screen volume control does not work.
if you touch the end left end arrow the volume goes down and
the end right arrow the volume goes down but if you slide your
finger across it nothing happens. I have tried the drivers I have
even done a fresh reinstall and cannot get it working

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte forum.

It sounds like a driver issue to me but of course it could be hardware based. I would advise you to return it to the retailer for a swap out. If you find that the new one still does exactly the same then  you can be certain it is a driver problem.

If it is only the driver that is in error then it probably won't be long until it will be rectified.

I was thinking that the issue may be that it doesn't like the volume control used by sound cards, as i am
using an Asus D2X sound card and the software with it, also couple of things could be better I would like
the backlight to always be on but I have to turn on every time start up the PC, The button to turn it on
should either stick out a little bit so you can find it or be on top between the F keys and the volume
control that would have made it easy to set on or off.
