A new Voting Format maybe !
« on: May 29, 2011, 09:23:05 am »

It kills me that people take the time to read, digest, then post text in a poll with out leaving "A VOTE" Responses although good don't leave the the critical Data requested via the vote tab......With one Poll that's currently running less then 2% of people viewings have voted

As a way forward to rectifying this issue  my thought was to request via Admin to either

 1) "A vote must be cast before viewing and posting on this topic"

                                      OR

 2) "A vote must be cast before your text/ response can be posted"

                                    OR

Make this option available when constructing the poll............Just a thought!

Hi Allan

It is a very good idea and would hopefully get more votes cast in these polls. The main problem as I see it is that it may not be possible to change this on a local (UK forum) level. The Gigabyte websites all follow the same template globallly and so the ability to customise the design is limited. Gigabyte want members to have a similar experience where ever they browse their sites. I know that this wouldn't affect the look of the site but I am not sure if they would want to change it because of this.

you can always ask the Forum Administrator runn3R though and ask for his thoughts.
