I installed this corsair memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145251&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10440897&PID=3332167&SID=u00000687
(DDR3, 1.5V, 9-9-9-27, 1333MHz)

but only 2T. Someone else reports(cpu-z) that he has 1T. Is this mobo able to give 1T?

I have started a new thread for this Argos as it really belongs under this heading rather than as a question in where you originally posted it.

Sadly there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to RAM timings. What works on one system doesn't always work on a system with identical components. The best advice is to play with your RAM timings until you can find that sweet spot.

A couple of quotes from the Newegg website though that might be relevant:
Quote
It did take a thorough look through Corsair's forums to determine that I needed to bump the voltage on these to get them to work. I was getting random BSOD's all tied to memory but Memtest passed every time. For anyone who may have the same issues bump the voltage to 1.6v and manually set the timing to 9-9-9-24-2T. Been stable ever since just had to rip my hair out for a couple days trying to figure it out.

Quote
I bought the ram for a GIGABYTE GA-770TA-UD3 motherboard. The board detected the correct settings on boot up, and didnt give me any issues, unlike the ram that I bought this to replace. I managed to get the ram to 7-7-7-24 with some minor voltage modifications. Have yet to overclock it

I read through all the reviews on Newegg for the RAM you have given a link to but I can see no evidence of anyone there actually getting their modules to run at 1T

Tnank you, buddy :)

I know of course that I can change the settings(timings, volts) but I prefer to keep the default settings-->
1333MHz, 1.5V, 9-9-9-24.

Is a motherboard responsible for the 1/2T?

Here is an image from someone who has same ram, default settings

I have the 1600 version of that ram, and indeed run stable at CR1 (9-9-9-24) @ 1.55 Volts ( It's rated at 9-9-9-24 @ CR2 @1.65V). I've never questioned this, just sat back and enjoyed. I believe achieving these timings is down to the motherboard and the RAM together. The proverbial 'Golden sample' I believe.

The motherboard will, if left at default, load what it believes to be the optimum settings for RAM, in most cases it is probably 2T. The only way to get the 1T timing will mean changing settings and this enters the wonderful world of overclocking and tweaking. As I stated before getting to this will only be achieved by trial and error and may not be obtainable at all.

I know my PC is different but, in theory my RAM should run at 9,9,4,24,2T but I have 4 sticks of RAM and can only get it to run at 9,9,9,27,2T. On a different motherboard but the same model, the RAM will run happily at much tighter timings and is one of the reasons why overclocking is such a challenge.

One important thing to note here is that the image you have posted is using an Intel board and an i5 2500K processor and they handle RAM slightly differently to AMD processors.

As I said, in this image theres no any o/c or tweak, just the default settings.

So this is the answer? U have 1T only with Intel cpu like i5 2500K...

I guess that cpu effects memory. For examble, I have A-data 2x2GB DDR2 800 with PhenomII 720 and wei gives 7,6.
I install A-data with a Sempron 140(same Asus mobo) and wei gives 7,0...

PS. If u want to change the title, revision is 1.5(bios f10).

I have some news...

I unistalled 4GB and stayed with only 4GB. Then cpu-z gave me 1T too!
(I wonder about differences in tRC and FSB:DRAM)

So I guess major point now is who has 1T with 8GB? :)
